Also it was only 4 small bite size pieces. Tasty but extremely small portions. Toasted almond cake for dessert was yummy. ”

Right from the start of the planning, the owners, Ray, Louis, and executive chef Chris, were so helpful and gracious in the planning of every detail. The event had a special hostess Dee, who was amazing!! Dee went out of her way to make everyone feel so welcomed and made sure that everyone had a good time. It was a Saturday night and the band, Blue Angel was terrific. They had our guests on the dance floor for hours. The food and drinks were fabulous. They couldn't have been better. Our friends and family all had a terrific time and loved the celebration. We highly recommend Butterfields! ”

“ My husband & I went last night for our 1st time to celebrate my birthday. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We started at the bar & I got a delicious coconut martini. Our waiter, Edwin, came over and told us no rush but our table was ready when we're ready. The menu had so many yummy choices. It was hard to decide. We ended up splitting a shrimp cocktail, a caesar salad & the filet mignon. My only complaint was that we asked for the steak medium rare & it came out well done but was still delicious and this wouldn't keep me from going back. The demi glaze on the steak was amazing! We were too full for dessert but decided to have an espresso martini at the bar that was the best I've ever had! Looking forward to our next meal here!! ”

The cake is from alpine bakery which is my go to bakery ! They offer $25 box tastings to choose your filling After booking we came for dinner on a Friday night to try out the food I went with my mom who recommended to see the place for the first time and my sister who is my maid of honor. all three of us took bites and just stared at each other in awe. Food was delicious !! We ate everything We ordered spinach dip & fried calamari for starters - very delicious ! Normally some places the calamari can be chewy but this was cooked perfectly My mom ordered the salad and she was so amazed how it was presented in the wedge My sister ordered one of their burgers I ordered the quesadilla Whatever we didn't finish we wrapped up to take home The drinks were delicious as well ! I ordered the sangria and my mom had a coconut martini Our waiter was training however one of the best waitstaff we had Live music was also preforming as we ate and really had such a great night enjoying ourselves The parking lot is huge & they have an outdoor area which is secluded with bushes from the road to give you privacy you need. I highly recommend this establishment. Not only was the food and service amazing but the vibe in the place made me feel like I was in NYC Run don't walk to make a reservation OR hosting a party here !! I cannot wait for my wedding and to post pictures ”

“ We were a club party of 80, and enjoyed Butterfields in Hauppauge. It is located off Willets Road in a warehouse area, so it can be easily missed. There is plenty of parking. The lunch menu included pasta, soup, salad, and a choice from four entrees, and coffee. I selected Shrimp Scampi, as did all the ladies at my table. The restaurant supplied black tablecloths and burgundy cloth napkins. The Holiday Lanterns were decorated with black, red and white ribbons and bows. It was a festive setting. The service was quite good. The bar was busy, so it took awhile to get a alcoholic beverage. I think the tables were a little too close together. It was difficult getting in and out. There was room for the keyboard player, and a cake sale. Good venue for a luncheon. ”
